At what age is an item Antique?
A lot of controversies on the internet.
On the subject of is it Antique or vintage?
Is your item A true Antique or just old?
To be a true Antique an item must be over 100 years old.
To be true Vintage over 50 years old.
Anything younger should only be considered an older collectible.
A collectible truly has no age.
Anything made today,tomorrow by popularity can become a collectible.
Some passing fancy collectibles popularity though can be short lived.

I have been an Antiques dealer and collector for over thirty years. Since i was a child and my father introduced me to the world of antiques. He said i could pick them seemed to have a sixth sense about age an value of things.
Today I'm a mother of three daughters an i tried to teach them the fascination i find in antiques. There should be a certain respect for the age of all things.
Becoming a Grand mother is my most prized ultimate advancement in life. It comes with so many benefits an perks. But is not a cash paying job. I spend most of my time online. Except for the occasional grand baby visit to drag me away. And a biweekly trip to buy grocery's to keep my husband an furry children fed to the degree they become accustomed! Yes I cook for the furry too.
An i might even share some recipes.
I hope to build me an online income. A store to sell my antiques is in the works. And my Ask GrannyNan website is a place for you to ask questions and get information. On almost anything. If i don't know the answer i will try to find it.
I'm a momma to furry children. My furbabies I'm sure will find there way into my web pages sooner or later! I'm also a writer an poet and post some of my poetic works online.
